Joy

I had to make a batch of Cricut Christmas cards. I usually make a few, but this year I made a dozen.
It just happened that 12 Rudolphs could be cut in 3" on a 12x12 piece of cardstock with the auto fill feature.
And I just was itching to use the Create a Critter cart again.

I cut the cards with Plantin Schoolbook on DCWV Mariposa glittercard in soft green and cream, I also used the DCWV Holiday Collection for the other cuts. And then their wasn't much else to it than glueing and assembling. These cards fit the small brown wage envelopes from Ryan. My way of considering the environment... On the inside I stamped a Hero Arts sentiment and that is it, 12 in total.
Not so long anymore and it will be Christmas...

Merry, merry, merry

Last weekend, we went to the NEC in Birmingham for the first time since we 've been living in England.
It wasn't really what I expected, but I was very pleased to be able to buy some Lili of the Valley stamps - and I do mean some-.
I also got 1 Whiff of Joy nurse stamp and some Spellbinders Nesties on a good deal and Hero Arts stamps on special offer.

DP: Making Memories, Paperchase cotton rag paper for the stamped images and white flower.
Embellishments: organza ribbon, sprig punch, Stickles, Prima flower, pearls.
This little card is entered on The Lili of the Valley Challenge blog "anything goes" and you can find it here.

Kindness feeds the heart

I got quite a few new goodies, -so called for Christmas-, but I 'm already using them.
No, I couldn't wait...
I got 2 new Penny Black slapstick stamps. This little cutie is one of them.
I made 2 cards with it but in 2 different color settings.
The flower is made with a Marianne Design Creatables and cut in white felt and then distressed. The paper is My Minds Eye and the self adhesive ribbon is from K&Co.

The papers on this one are from Basic Grey and the brad too.
I love this stamp, although it is quite big. It might become a challenge if I want to use it for my usual 5 x 5 cards.

Stylin' chic

Hello,
I 'm a bit behind on my posting. I promise I will make a few today.
The first one is a mixture of stamping and the Cricut. I used The Greetings Farm stamp and the Paisley cartridge for the umbrella and sentiment. On the inside of the card I used  K&Co rub-ons.

Supplies:
DP: Whoop De Doo by g.c.d studios
Embellishments: Spellbinders photocorners, Cuttlebug emboss folder, lace and Stickles.
